As what is left of Hurricane Sally continues to leave devastation in it’s wake, today’s Star Spangled Salute honors an Army Veteran who isn’t hesitating to help. Curtis Drafton and his non-profit, The US Veterans Hall of Fame, will be assisting with relief efforts. Curtis says the new reality for someone who lives through storms and natural disasters is that they wake up and don’t know where their next meal is coming from, next opportunity for employment to take care of their family is coming from. You are looking at more than a person who has lost everything….their spirit is broken. This help comes just 3 weeks after helping with Hurricane Laura relief.
