Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors the organization Wreaths Across America.  Every year around the Holidays, Wreaths Across America makes wreaths and with the help of volunteers and fundraising they lay those wreaths on the graves of Veterans.  On Monday and Tuesday, the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Unit will be visiting Benton. During the day the unit will visit the elementary and middle schools but there will also be a visit to Stearman Bar and Grill at Stearman Airfield from 4 PM to 7 PM on Monday. They encourage you stop by and learn about the Wreaths Across America mission to Remember, Honor and Teach. Veterans are also encouraged to stop by so they can show appreciation.  Thank you Wreaths Across America for your important work and to all the Veterans you Honor, thank you for your service.
