An unidentified woman was found dead after a house fire in Wellington early Tuesday.
The fire was reported around 1:25 a.m. at a home in the 200 block of West 17th. Crews went into the home and found that the fire had burned itself out, causing extensive damage to the living room. The woman was found dead in the living room, and the cause was determined to be from smoking in the presence of medical oxygen.
The fire caused around $50,000 in damage.
