The 2020 Fall Parade of Homes starts this Saturday, October 3.
This year’s event covers more than 100 homes from 47 builders across the Wichita area. Tours will be available in-person, despite the pandemic. The number of people in a home at one time will be limited. Virtual tours are also offered online at NewHomesWichita.com. This site was put together by the Wichita Area Builders Association to create an opportunity for people to get detailed views of new homes year round.
“People are really beginning to re-imagine how a new home can fit their changing lifestyle,” said president and CEO of the Wichita Area Builders Association, Wess Galyon. “Buying new offers unrivaled flexibility in floor plans and modern amenities that allow buyers to purchase a home that is built for the way they live.”
The Fall Parade of Homes will run over the next three weekends, ending on October 18. Pick of the Parade winners will be chosen from each price category, along with winners in each price category for effective design, kitchen design, master suite/bath design, basement design and decorating/merchandising. Winners will be announced at NewHomesWichita.com on October 7th.
“Buying new delivers exceptional value for the price,” said Galyon. “NewHomesWichita.com allows you to search for a new home that fits your lifestyle, with the assurance of the highest level of construction methods.”
Parade hours run from noon to 6 p.m., and properties will have Real Estate representatives with details about available incentives. Each home will also have brochures with detailed floorplans and features. The Fall Parade of Homes Magazine is available at wabahome.com. It includes addresses for the homes being featured this year, along with basic details and price ranges.
