Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veteran Nathan Tirey. In 2019, Nathan was diagnosed with blood cancer and he was ready to prove he was “Army Strong” and fight the illness alongside his fellow Americans going through the same thing. So, with the support of his wife, he was on a mission to raise awareness and one of determination, to do a push up for each American diagnosed with blood cancer annually. He documented his “Push Through Cancer” on Youtube and this month, completed push up number 176,200. In case you’re wondering, he averaged about 484 push ups a day. Congratulations Nathan on quite an accomplishment and THANK YOU for your service.
