Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Navy Veteran Eric Golnick. Eric didn’t realize his substance abuse problem was as bad as it was. A problem that stemmed from trauma suffered when a friend died by suicide and after witnessing death and destruction first hand from numerous military disaster relief operations. When the problem was too big, he went to the VA for help. When he regained his life, he developed a new passion and purpose and co-founded Veteran and First Responder Healthcare. VFR Healthcare has a mission to improve Veterans’ mental health and well-being using evidence-based treatments. Thank you Eric for helping other Veterans and THANK YOU for your service.
