A Wichita man has been charged with first degree murder for the stabbing death of his cousin.
A hearing was held Tuesday for 39-year-old Jason Payne, and his bond was set at $200,000. His next hearing was scheduled for February 4th.
Police found Payne in the street at 13th and Oliver on January 13th and he was treated and released at a hospital. Officers later found the body of 34-year-old Michael Montgomery at a home in the 900 block of North Oliver. Police said Montgomery had been stabbed after an argument with Payne.
