A former Wichita police sergeant has pleaded no contest to one count of indecent liberties with a child, and two counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child.

58-year-old Alexis Robinson had been scheduled for trial on Monday, February 22nd.   In a hearing Friday, he entered the no contest pleas, and District Judge David Kaufman scheduled sentencing for April 13th.

Robinson was accused of crimes involving three victims in 2011 and 2012.  Some of the victims were children that Robinson mentored through the Boys and Girls Club.

Robinson was a former police officer who had also worked as a security supervisor for the Wichita Public Schools, and he had been a volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club. He was convicted and sentenced to prison for similar crimes in Colorado.
