Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veteran Ramal Brown. Ramal started the “Left Right Left” radio show in Oklahoma to help Veterans hear stories from other Veterans, connect with resources and share their stories. He calls it “talk therapy” and creating the show has helped him and many others. Ramal says, “Talk therapy is a great thing, talking out your issues and situations, and one thing I learned from going to the VA is the more you talk about your situation and things that happened, the smaller it gets”. He goes on to say, “It does my heart so well just to hear stories and to see people thrive, and to build camaraderie between veterans”.
