The City of Wichita will be relighting the fire pots at the Keeper of the Plains at 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 1st.
This will be the first time the pots have been lit since the pandemic causes a temporary suspension.
City Council Member Cindy Claycomb and Kansas State Representative Ponka-We Victors will deliver remarks prior to the relighting ceremony.
The Keeper of the Plains plaza is located near Veterans Memorial Park at 339 Veterans Parkway.
