The Wichita Wind Surge unveiled their new Mascot earlier in the week at Franklin Elementary School in Wichita.
“Windy” the Pegasus was named the baseball team’s new mascot, and organization hopes Windy will become a fixture in the Wichita community as plans are being made to have the mascot make appearances at local events throughout the year.
Windy was designed by Wind Surge staff and brought to life by Scollon Productions.
The mascot will make its first appearance at the Wind Surge home opener at Riverfront Stadium on Tuesday, May 11th.
