A man was arrested Monday morning after a fight at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
Newton Police arrested Luke Smith of Covington, after Smith reported kicked, punched, and tackled another man during the qualifying event for the PGA Korn Ferry Tour Wichita Open.
Police said Smith an argument began when Smith refused to help the victim retrieve a golf ball in the rough.
Smith was booked into the Harvey County Detention Facility on one count of misdemeanor aggravated battery.
