Wichita police officers and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers were searching for a driver after a chase with a stolen car that ended in south Wichita.
KHP troopers were chasing the car on the Kansas Turnpike and the chase reached speeds of 100 miles an hour at times. The chase ended near 57th Street South and Washington when the driver jumped out and ran.
K-9 units and the KHP aircraft were brought out to search for the driver, described as a man with several tattoos who was wearing a black shirt.
