The Star Spangled Salute is presented by
Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Marine, Army and Wisconsin Army National Guard Veteran Darren Hafford. Darren, like many before him want to bring awareness to the continuously rising suicide rates among Veterans. However, unlike many before him, he has found a unique way to get his message heard. Darren, was outside the Massachusetts State House Monday night doing push ups. Boston was his 30th state capital that he has visited. His goal to visit all 50 state capitals in 50 days and do 50 push ups at each spot. The GoFundMe page he created will go to raise money for counseling services for Veterans.
