The Kansas Department of Transportation launched a survey to seek public input ahead of the 2021 Eisenhower Legacy Transportation (IKE) Program Local Consult process.
Participants in the survey will help KDOT by providing insight on the public’s top transportation areas of focus and the ways in which communities in the state may be changing.
All Kansans are encouraged to participate in the short survey by August 22nd. It is available online here.
Survey results will also provide background for conversations at the Fall 2021 Local Consult meetings, which gathers public input for the IKE program. Dates for regional discussions below:
- Iola – 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8th at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center
- Wichita – 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 9th at Hughes Metroplex
- Salina – 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15th at Tony’s Pizza Events Center
- Topeka – 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 16th at TPAC
- Overland Park – 9 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 30th at KU Edwards Campus
- Sterling – 1:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 4th at Sterling College
- Dodge City – 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5th at Boot Hill Casino
- Hays – 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6th at Hilton Garden Inn
