A man suspected of shooting and killing a man in a Georgia motel room more than nine months ago was arrested in Chanute.
On Wednesday, the Chanute Police Department and U.S. Marshals apprehended Adrian Weston, who is accused of killing Alex Tolbert in Madison, Georgia on January 23rd. Tolbert was reportedly shot 14 times inside a room at the Budget Inn.
Weston is currently being held in the Neosho County jail awaiting extradition back to Georgia by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
