Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a fatal crash that was reported Friday morning north of Garden Plain.
Two vehicles collided shortly after 9 a.m. at the intersection of 21st Street North and 295th Street West. Deputies said a northbound car ran a stop sign and was hit by an eastbound car. A 36-year-old man from the northbound car was critical and later pronounced dead. A 38-year-old female passenger was taken to a hospital with possible serious injuries. Their names have not been released.
The 19-year-old driver of the other car had minor injuries.
