An unidentified person was killed Friday in a house fire in El Dorado, and investigators have a man in custody on arson charges.
Crews were called to the 300 block of North Taylor and learned that someone was inside a home that caught fire. Firefighters got that person out of the home, but that person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has not been identified.
A first degree murder charge has been filed against 46-year-old David Poulter of El Dorado. He was also charged with aggravated arson and assault on a law enforcement officer.
