Wichita police arrested a 44-year-old Wichita man on charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported on April 10th of last year. Officers responded to the 3600 block of East Harry during that time, where a 15-year-old girl reported being sexually assaulted. The man was later identified as a suspect.
The man was arrested Tuesday in the 6100 block of South Kansas. He was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office.
