KBI asks for help in finding missing southeast Kansas man

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Independence police are again asking for help from the public in finding a man who was reported missing two years ago this week.

Detreck Foster was reported missing on May 12th, 2020 but he was last seen a month earlier in Independence.    KBI agents and police detectives believe foul play was involved.  Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Foster is Black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.   The KBI said his family is desperate to know what happened to him.

The Governor’s Office has issued a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
