The Salvation Army is accepting donations and volunteers to help distribute food to people in Andover.
Things like water, Gatorade, juice boxes, snacks, and sandwich materials will be most helpful. Donations can be dropped off at the Salvation Army in Wichita, at 350 N. Market, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm today. There will be a drop box for after hours donations.
Salvation Army volunteers will work to prepare food to be handed out, and drive through areas of Andover impacted by Friday’s tornado. Their goal is to get food to people working to clean up so they have one less thing to worry about.
