A judge in Central Kansas says that the case against two men charged with stealing cattle can move forward.
Ruben Lopez-Lupercia and Axel Gomez-Saldana appeared in Pawnee County court Wednesday. They each face one count of felony theft.
Prosecutors said that last December, the men allegedly stole 11 heifers from the feedlot where they worked and tried to sell them at a cattle barn in La Crosse.
The men are expected to enter a plea sometime in September.
