A 14-month-old girl was taken to a hospital in serious condition after she was pulled out of an above-ground swimming pool near Clearwater.
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon at a home daycare facility in the 9700 block of South Ridge Road. Sedgwick County deputies said an adult got the child out of the pool and performed CPR, and she was alert and conscious when emergency crews arrived.
The girl was taken to a hospital for observation. No one else was injured.
