A fatal crash involving a bicycle rider in Hutchinson remains under investigation.
The deceased rider is identified as 46-year-old Heath Volkman, of Hutchinson. Police say Volkman was riding west on 10th Avenue, when he was hit by a driver headed south on Severance. Volkman passed away at the scene. This crash happened around 8:15 Thursday evening.
The driver was taken to a hospital to checked out and has since been released.
