Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Vietnam Veteran Rick Brown.  His passion for preserving history all started after he took the time to restore his Dad’s grave marker.  Shortly after he was introduced to the organization Mission Restore and his passion for giving back was born.  He says restoring bronze markers is like potato chips, you can’t do just one. So now, Rick, a disabled Veteran uses an all-terrain powered wheel chair to pull a cart around that has everything in it he needs for the restoration.  To date, Rick has visited over 600 cemetaries and has restored over 6000 grave markers.
