The Wichita Public Library’s “Kansas Reads to Preschoolers” returns in November.
The month-long program promotes reading to Kansas children up to age five. This year’s selected book is Not a Box by Antoinette Portis.
Programming at Wichita Public Library includes a special Kansas Reads to Preschoolers story-time on Friday, November 18th at 10:30 a.m. at the Rockwell Branch Library. Story-times the week of November 14th thru 18th will also feature readings of the selected book.
Latin Grammy-winning music duo “123 Andres” will play a concert on Saturday, November 12th at 10:30 a.m at the Alford Branch Library (3447 S. Meridian) and again at 2:30 p.m. at the Advanced Learning Library (711 W. 2nd St.). The concert is recommended for kids ages 0-6.
