19 people were injured and 1 person was killed after a car crashed into the front of an Apple Store at around 10:45 Monday morning in Hingham, Massachusetts.
According to law enforcement on the scene, the dark colored SUV crashed into the storefront, trapping several victims against the wall and causing injury to victims both outside and inside the store.
Several bystanders helped the injured victims until first responders reached the scene. 17 of the victims were transported to South Shore Hospital, with injuries ranging from “life-threatening” to “limb-threatening.”
The driver was not hospitalized and is in police custody.
Police said they are looking at “every avenue” for an explanation for the incident.
