Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that gutted a home in southeast Wichita.
Crews saw flames coming from an attached garage when they got to the scene around 3 p.m. Monday in the 9500 block of East Stafford Court. That’s in a neighborhood near Pawnee and Webb Road.
No one was inside, and the residents had moved most of their belongings out of the home. No one was inside the home at the time and there were no injuries.
The home is considered a total loss, and investigators said it will take time to find the cause because of the intense damage to the structure.
