Garden City Police investigated a report of a student bringing a firearm to an elementary school on Tuesday.
Officers were called to Charles O. Stones Intermediate Center and learned that an 11-year-old student brought an Airsoft gun to the school.
The Airsoft gun and a canister of Airsoft pellets were found near the bus stop of Alta Brown Elementary School. Police determined there was no threat to the school or students.
Officials said that disciplinary action had been taken by the school for the student.
