A Wichita man has been sentenced to life without parole in connection with a triple homicide that happened eight years ago.
A judge handed down the sentence for 49-year-old Vinh Van Nguyen, who pleaded guilty in November to one count of capital murder.
Van Nguyen was arrested after the June, 2014 killings of his 45-year-old girlfriend, Tuyet Huynh, along with her daughter, 20-year-old Trinh Pham, and her son-in-law, 21-year-old Sean Pham.
Police said the shootings happened in the 2200 block of South Beech, in a neighborhood near Pawnee and Webb Road.
