A Wichita man was killed Friday morning in a one-car crash in southern Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash was reported around 11 a.m. on U.S. Highway 60 two miles east of Winona, in Shannon County, Missouri. The Patrol said a car went off the roadway and overturned.
A passenger, identified as 23-year-old Shrey Patel, was thrown from the car and he died at the scene. The driver and another passenger, also from Wichita, were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
