Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Vietnam Veteran Marvin Henry. Marvin, suffers from PTSD and struggles to sleep at night. So, when he can’t sleep, he creates artwork to calm himself. It all started when his sister, who was an artist at the Stephen Smith Gallery in Topeka, taught him some techniques to help his art grow. The owner of the gallery saw some of Marvin’s work and added it to the gallery. The sales of Marvin’s art have since raised almost $2,000 to assist Veterans with disabilities and their families. Thank you Marvin for sharing your talent and THANK YOU for your service.
