Police found a woman with gunshot wounds in her car in a north Wichita neighborhood late Saturday morning.
Officers were called to the 1800 block of North Piatt around 11:45 a.m. and they found a 44-year-old woman sitting inside her parked car. She had two gunshot wounds to her upper legs, and officers provided medical treatment before she was taken to a hospital. After surgery, the woman was in stable condition.
