Police said a one-year-old girl was critically injured in a shooting that happened early Sunday at a north side home.
Officers were called to a hospital around 4:40 a.m. where a 44-year-old man had taken his daughter. The girl had a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and she was in critical but stable condition after surgery.
Police said the father has been cooperating with investigators and they are still looking into the circumstances of the shooting, which happened in the 1000 block of North Main.
