Police are looking into a shooting in east Wichita that left a man with critical injuries.
The shooting was reported around 11:15 Sunday night in the 700 block of North Ash. Officers found a 43-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition but he was expected to survive.
Police say they have identified a 31-year-old woman as a suspect, and she lives at the home with the victim where the shooting took place. The woman left before officers got to the scene, and detectives are looking for her.
