When I was first planning to move to Kansas, all my friends and family had the same reaction – “They have tornadoes there, don’t they”.  It was at that moment I made it my mission to prove Kansas was about more than just tornadoes.  Well, thanks to the guy who wanted to “blow up” the Home Depot bathroom here in Wichita a few years ago

and now this guy from Franklin County dressing as a Bud Light can…people won’t always think Kansas is just about tornadoes….not sure the chamber of commerce wants to use these examples in their marketing however.

This was a pretty appropriate choice of outfit considering it led to a DUI arrest. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department came across a man dressed in a Bud Light can costume, and pulled him over for intoxicated driving. While the man was transported to jail for a DUI, there was no official word if he had actually been drinking Bud Light.
