Country music star Dustin Lynch has expressed interest in appearing on a spinoff of the hit Western drama Yellowstone.
“I would be totally down,” Lynch said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “Absolutely, yes.”
Lynch is a fan of the show and believes he would fit right in with the Western drama.
“I love the show,” he said. “I love the characters. I love the story. I think it’s a great show.”
Yellowstone is a Paramount Network series that follows the Dutton family, who own a large cattle ranch in Montana. The show has been a critical and commercial success, and it has spawned two spinoffs: 1883 and 6666.
Lynch is not the first country music star to express interest in appearing on a Yellowstone spinoff. In 2021, Blake Shelton said he would be “honored” to be a part of the show.
It is unclear if Lynch or Shelton will actually be cast in a Yellowstone spinoff. However, it is clear that country music stars are fans of the show and would love to be a part of it.
In addition to his music career, Lynch has also appeared in several films and television shows. He most recently starred in the 2022 film The Marksman.
If Lynch is cast in a Yellowstone spinoff, it would be a major coup for the show. Lynch is a popular and talented actor, and his addition to the cast would likely boost the show’s ratings.
