About Brian Kelley
Brian Kelley is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who is best known as one half of the country music duo Florida Georgia Line. He was born in Ormond Beach, Florida, in 1984, and grew up in Vero Beach. He began playing guitar at a young age and was inspired by country music artists such as Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks.
Kelley attended the University of Central Florida, where he studied business. After graduating, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music. He met Tyler Hubbard, the other half of Florida Georgia Line, in 2010, and the two began writing songs together.
Florida Georgia Line released their debut album, Here’s to the Good Times, in 2012. The album was a commercial success, spawning the hit singles “Cruise” and “Get Your Shine On.” The duo has since released four more albums, all of which have been certified platinum or multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
In addition to his work with Florida Georgia Line, Kelley has also released a solo album, The Long Way, in 2018. The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
Kelley is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness. He has spoken openly about his own struggles with anxiety and depression, and he has used his platform to raise awareness about these issues. He is also a strong supporter of the military and has performed at numerous events to benefit veterans.
In 2019, Kelley married his longtime girlfriend, Brittney Marie Cole. The couple has two children, a son named Oliver and a daughter named Owen.
