Wichita Police determined that a bomb threat to an east Wichita Walmart was a false call.
The store, located at Kellogg and Greenwich, was evacuated. Following an investigation, employees were given the all-clear to go back inside.
Officials said the store’s electronics department received a call about a bomb. The employees contacted Wichita Police and employees evacuated the store.
Sedgwick County dispatch said the call was made just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
