Wichita Police are investigating the shooting that killed 34-year-old Nicholas Hardcastle of Wichita.
Officers responded to the 200 block of S. Minnesota around 1:00 a.m. Thursday. Police said that Hardcastle was shot after an argument with another individual. The argument then led to a physical altercation and Hardcastle was shot. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Police said that Hardcastle knew the suspect, and that there is no ongoing danger to the public.
