Police and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation have identified the man and woman who died in a shooting incident that happened at a northwest Wichita home.
Officers were called to a home early on June 25th in the 2700 block of North Parkridge, and they found 47-year-old Thomas Dempsey, who said he had killed his wife during an argument. The body of 44-year-old Nicole Dempsey was found at the home.
While police were arresting Thomas Dempsey, he became unresponsive and medical aid was provided, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The KBI is investigating the circumstances of the man’s death, and an autopsy was ordered.
