The Gilgo Beach serial killer, was as story you may have first heard about in the Netflix documentary “Lost Girls”.  11 years after the case remained unsolved, a suspect is in custody.  Rex Heuermann, a married architect with 2 kids, is suspected of some if not all of the murders along that Long Island beach.

The Black Sea Grain Initiative is a big deal – it keeps millions of food insecure countries fed – by allowing Ukraine to safely navigate Russia’s blockade in the Black Sea to transport the much needed food supply.  However, the deal is set to expire Monday and Russia says they may not renew. If this happens, the impact will be felt globally.

And the planet is clearly mad at us.  The global heatwave is showing know signs of ending anytime soon. In the U.S., Asia and Europe temperatures are hitting 118 degrees in many places. Wildfires are burning in California,  Asia, Europe and in Canada which is causing air quality alerts for people in Chicago and Indiana.  If it’s not heat, it’s flooding in New England, South Korea and China where murals at ancient heritage sites are in danger of being lost. There have been recent earthquakes in Alaska and oh, by the way, the world oceans have taken a sudden rise in temperatures.  We all saw the movie “2012” right.  I want to know where the rich people are building those arks.
