It is the 20-year anniversary of “Remember When.” No doubt one of the biggest hits of Alan Jackson’s career. It was released in October of 2003. 2003?!?
Alan talks about the song and his life with Denise in an audio clip posted to Instagram on August, 3rd. The post also contains a throwback pic of the two of them in a convertible. AJ and Denise have known each other since they were little.
“Denise and I met as kids, and all that’s true, and most of that is just reflections of our life and some of to looking ahead. But I’ve had so many comments saying, ‘hey, that’s one of my favorite songs,’ or ‘that’s our song,’ I have so many couples come up and say, ‘that’s our song,’ all that stuff. And how many times everybody said, ‘remember when?’ You know? ‘Remember when we did this?, ‘Remember when we did that?’ So, again, it connected with a certain audience, I guess.”
