Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Veteran Jeffrey Jones. In his early 20’s Jones joined the Army, a knee injury ended his service. He traveled a lot to Poland and eastern Europe, making lots of friends, so when the war in Ukraine started he joined the humanitarian effort. Sent home by an injury from an artillery round, he healed and went back, this time as a member of the Ukraine Army, wanting to help the people of Ukraine, especially the children. On July 31st, Jeffrey’s father Howard received word his son had been killed by a mortar shell explosion in Kyiv. Thank you for wanting to help Jeffrey and thank you for your service and sacrifice.
