2. The manhunt in Pennsylvania for convicted murderer Danelo Cavalcante is entering day 8. As his cell block was out in the yard, Danelo crab walked up a wall and over razor wire to escape. Well, somebody’s been watching a lot of American Ninja Warrior.
3. Just in time for the Kansas State Fair, you can do some fair pregaming with a new ice cream flavor. From the company that brought you potato ice cream and mustard ice cream, there is now “Idaho Potato Malted Milkshake and Fries” ice cream. Looks like I’ll be stopping at Wal-Mart on my way home.
4. The U.S. Coast Guard just arrested a man 70 miles off the east coast of the United States who was trying to run to London, England in a ‘hamster wheel’ type vessel. Unlike a hamster in a traditional hamster wheel, at least he was getting somewhere.
5. And the Annual Wichita State Garage Sale is coming September 30th. It will be at the Aetna Multi-Purpose-Facility from 8a to 11a. Items are available on a first-come, first-served basis and include jerseys and uniforms, assorted apparel, bags, Gatorade coolers and equipment. Prices listed are non-negotiable. Seriously, is it even really a garage sale if you can negotiate the price.
