The Kansas Highway Patrol has been looking for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident that happened Friday night in McPherson County.
The KHP said a bicycle rider was hit by a pickup near 17th and Mohawk Road. The pickup was traveling south on 17th and then struck the bicycle, then it turned west on Northview near the city of McPherson.
The bike rider, 59-year-old Pedro Amezcua-Cabrera of McPherson, was dead at the scene.
Troopers believe the pickup is a white Chevy Colorado or GMC Canyon. They found a sticker connecting the vehicle to a 2004-2012 model Colorado or Canyon pickup.
