You know Tim McGraw as a country music star, but he’s also a collector of cars. McGraw was gifted a Chip Foose custom-built 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible for his 40th birthday in 2007. Now, after 16 years, the car is up for grabs. GAA (short for Greensboro Auto Auctions) is hosting a collector-car event in Greensboro, NC.

GAA will showcase and sell classic models from November 2-4, 2023. 695 vehicles and memorabilia will be sold in three days. McGraw’s 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible will be auctioned in November. Sold on Sat, Nov 4 as Lot #ST0072.5.

Enthusiasts love the third-gen Cutlass. This car was on the GM A-body platform and came out in 1968 with architecture similar to the Chevy Chevelle and Pontiac LeMans. In 1971, the hood, grille, headlights, and bumpers were restyled to today’s layout. Bids can be placed in person, by phone, or online.
