Authorities in Maryland have named a 49-year-old suspect in connection with Thursday’s shooting death of a circuit court judge.
Washington County Judge Andrew Wilkinson was found shot Thursday evening in the driveway of his home in Hagerstown in the northwest part of the state. The 52-year-old died after being taken to an area hospital.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Pedro Argote, whose name was found in a lengthy divorce case that included hearings Wilkinson presided over. The Sheriff’s Office said Argote might be driving a 2009 Mercedes-Benz with Maryland plates.
