Can’t believe 15 years ago I picked up a bell and started ringing for the Salvation Army.  The first couple years I was doing it to help, and I still do, that’s always my main focus.  What I wasn’t expecting was gaining this overwhelming joy.  I tell people that it just doesn’t feel like Christmas until I get the bell in my hand. Like, I love doing this so much, I ordered my own (and bigger) bell.

This year, I am grateful and honored to be the 2023 Christmas Chairman for the Salvation Army of South Central Kansas and we officially kicked off kettle season the other day with the help of the Wichita Fire Department
