A Wichita man has been charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of his former girlfriend.
Bond was set at $2 million for 26-year-old Carlos Anderson-Honeycutt during a hearing Monday in Sedgwick County District Court. His next court appearance was scheduled for December 8th.
Anderson-Honeycutt was named as the suspect in the November 12th shooting death of 24-year-old Brittnee Wicker. She was found at a home in the 2300 block of South Belmont, near Pawnee and George Washington Boulevard, and police said the death was the result of a domestic violence incident.
Anderson-Honeycutt was arrested two days after the shooting in Brownsville, Texas, and he was brought back to Sedgwick County late last week to face charges.
